Has anyone been watching American Idol?  What a life.  Is that real life?  I mean, for a teenager, some of those kids are 16-17 years old..away from home, getting pounded by Simon, usually.  I think sometimes I would be in tears.  I have to give them credit.  I can't believe how some of them talk back to Simon though..they are rather cocky at times.  Whatever happened to respect?  There seems to be such a lack of it by everyone on that show.  Brian and Simon don't seem to respect eachother, Paula and Simon get into it.  It doesn't have to be so cut-throat, does it?  If the kids had it their way, I think they would all get along fine and support eachother.  I think the public wants them to fight among themselves and become jealous of eachother.  It is just plain stupid, in my opinion.

Does anyone watch Ghosthunters on the SCI-FI channel?  That is a topic of interest of my family.  It is an interesting topic I think of Christians in general.  Do ghosts exhist?  If they do, what does that mean for Christians and our belief system?  If there are ghosts..and I am not saying that I don't believe in them, are they souls that did not make it to heaven? are they "stuck" on earth because they were not Christians? or are they earthbound because of some emotional attachment to a loved one..?  It is certainly an interesting subject..and one that I have talked over with a minister and laypeople before.  It doesn't say anything in the Bible about ghosts either way..that I know of.

I would certainly be interested on anyone elses point of  view on the subject.  I was always brought up to have an open mind and I still do have one.  I guess I will continue to have to pray about that one!!

That is enough pondering on that for now..my brain is hurting!
